Heart Valve Voice is a charity that works towards publicising and disseminating information about heart valve disease. If people become aware of the symptoms of heart valve disease, they can get them checked out, get early treatment and get back to living full and active lives.
The charity is currently holding a photography competition for amateur photographers and I’m delighted to be one of the judges.
Not only is this a worthwhile project for a great cause, but the finalists will have their images displayed at the Houses of Parliament in September and then on a national hospital tour through the winter. So it’s an exciting opportunity to showcase your work.
The deadline for entries has just been extended till April 2nd 2018 so I’d like to encourage any fellow-photographers to have a go.
