British Masters Open Indoor Championships 2013 (set 1)

  1. Cliff Taylor, GB, born 1932, men’s shot put, 80-84 year age group. Taylor threw 9.03metres, creating a new British Record in this event and taking Gold medal position.
  2. Mike Hazlewood, GB, born 1945, men’s shot put, 65-69 year old age group. Hazlewood threw 13.81metres which gave him Silver medal position in this event.
  3. Peter Barber, GB, born 1932, men’s shot put, 80-84 year old category. Barber threw 6.42 metres achieving Bronze medal position.
  4. Sue Yeomans, GB, born 1953, European Pole Vault Champion for her age group even though she is at the top end of it (55-59 year olds) celebrates after clearing the bar at 2.70m for Gold medal position in this event. Her European Record is 2.86m (the World Record for her age group is 3.20m).
