I was very pleased to talk to Elise Christian of Rest Less, “the UK’s fastest-growing digital community for the over 50s” about how my life took a completely new direction at 60 when I becoming a sports photographer, and what this has meant to me.
We talked too about some of the advantages and also disadvantages of starting afresh later in life. I really enjoyed our discussion.
What’s more, in this time of lockdown and isolation, where there’s been so much emphasis on how all we ‘over 70s’ are one lumpen, vulnerable and frail group, it made me feel positively rejuvenated to be in conversation with someone interested in my experience as a person in the ‘over 50s’ category.
