Jonathan Ray’s ‘Happy Hour’, BBC Radio Bristol

On Saturday January 26^th 2019 I was a guest on Jonathan Ray’s programme on BBC Radio Bristol. With my fellow studio guest, Ian Rice – another sports photographer – we had the joyful task of talking about what makes us happy on the ‘Happy Hour’ slot. We talked about photography, we talked about big things and we talked about simple pleasures too (such as a glass of rose wine). It was an extraordinary hour actually – I felt as though I was in the company of two dear, trusted friends – which says a lot for Jonathan’s professionalism and both his and Ian’s sheer niceness. It was a real pleasure as well as being a privilege to be there.
