Well, I’m off to Turin this Sunday for The World Masters Games! This is a massive, multi sport event held every 4 years. I’ve got a Press Pass but a Competitor’s one too as I was going to compete in the tennis section. Unfortunately my mother’s 92nd birthday celebrations a couple of weeks ago included a fall – happily for her, and indeed for both of us in anything but the short run, on me. However my arm’s out of action so I won’t be playing tennis for a while – and using the camera’s a bit problematic too. But I’m really hoping I’ll be back in photographer mode by next week when the Games begin. I’ve been looking forward to them hugely – and, if I’m camera-happy again, considering branching out and photographing other sports as well as the Track & Field. Watch this space!
